Revolution Hawaii Is Back!

Next week, Revolution Hawaii (the third year) will be back and ready for war against demons, against devils, against decay, against ourselves!

Twelve months ago, I journeyed to Hawaii, to partake in nine months of that revolution on the island of Oahu.

I recommend this program! And if you are interested in supporting Revolution Hawaii, financially, then make your checks payable to The Salvation Army. But do not write my name in the memo line, because I am not in Hawaii anymore. You can write the name "Matt McQuade," in the memo line of the check, if you like, or you can leave the memo line blank.

Try writing out a brief letter to your friends, before you journey out to Hawaii, and let them know what is going on in your life, what is going on deep inside of you, and how you feel about all of this.And, also, go start an online blog, so that you can keep your friends posted on your year in Hawaii. And I just want everybody to know that I am excited about this program. I encourage everybody to support this program financially, socially, and especially through your prayers! Tell your friends about Revolution Hawaii! This program works! In my nine months in Hawaii, I have seen several homeless men leave the streets. I remember one man who left the streets, entered into a clean house program, quit smoking and drinking, started working, and is doing so much better. And this is all due to Revolution Hawaii, brought to you by The Salvation Army, which is brought to you by Jesus. Revolution Hawaii is making a difference in the lives of the youth and homeless in Hawaii! This new movement is contagious! The participants, in this program, get to experience a simplistic lifestyle that is void of daily internet and tv, and an atmosphere soaking with the disciplines of reading through the whole entire Bible and through about twenty books, and with the disciplines of fasting, daily prayer, prayer walking, daily study, a required weekly day-off, Godly friendships, accountability, about ten hours of weekly volunteering hours, and daily opportunity to reach out to Hawaiians, to tourists, to the youth, to the lost, to the rich, to the saved, to the homeless, and especially to each other!

After arriving in Hawaii, myself, last September of 2007, I started a blog, to keep my friends and family posted on my journey in Hawaii. That blog still continues because my journey for revolution continues.
