Talking To A Homeless Man!
Within the realm of 'reaching out,' as I was walking about three miles to the Forest Grove Library (in Oregon), as I approached John, a San Fransico born homeless man with a cart, I actually asked him if he wanted my icecream (which is a treasure inside my mouth).
The homeless man rejected my offer, luckily, because I wanted to eat all of the chocolate inside of that ice-cream that I bought for about $3.50 at a Paid Pantry. I was actually approaching Safeway, when I actually asked him the question.
Anyways, I never thought that I could talk to a homeless man. That is what I said before I came to Revolution Hawaii. But during my nine months in Hawaii, I got into the habit of talking to the homeless. In Hawaii, we even saw some of them recover! Some of them left the streets for good!
That is one of my most recent stories of participating in the revolution!
